Leylana is a desktop AI assistant operated by ZM Productions LLC ("ZM Productions LLC," "Leylana," "we," "us," or "our"). We respect user privacy and are committed to protecting personal information.
This Privacy Policy describes how the Leylana website and desktop AI assistant access, process, transmit, store, and protect information.
Leylana is designed to provide interactive desktop assistance, contextual recommendations, gaming support, voice interaction, text assistance, and artificial intelligence functionality.
Local Data Privacy Commitment
Any data that Leylana observes, receives, or processes through the desktop application—including visible screen content, typed text, user inputs, voice input, transcripts, contextual observations, and other information generated through a user's interaction with Leylana—is stored locally on the user's own computer when storage is required.
ZM Productions LLC does not receive or maintain a copy of this locally stored user data, and this information is not transmitted to or stored on servers owned or controlled by ZM Productions LLC.
The exception is when a user knowingly selects or uses functionality requiring communication with a third-party AI provider. In that situation, information necessary to perform the requested function may be transmitted to the third-party provider selected by the user. Such transmission is subject to the user's authorization and the third-party provider's own privacy, security, retention, and data-handling practices.
Routine desktop observation and local processing by Leylana do not, by themselves, cause screen content, typed information, voice data, or other locally processed information to be transmitted to ZM Productions LLC.
Our privacy principles include:
User transparency and informed consent.
Local processing and local storage of Leylana desktop data.
User control over screen and microphone access.
No unauthorized transmission of personal information.
Data minimization and reasonable security safeguards.
Clear procedures for disabling monitoring and managing locally stored information.
Transparency regarding third-party AI services.
The Leylana website and desktop application have different data-processing capabilities, which are explained separately below.
2. Website Privacy
The Leylana.com promotional website does not currently provide account registration, payment processing, contact forms, or live AI conversations.
Assistant demonstrations displayed on the website are illustrative and do not submit user questions to external AI services.
The website does not access visitors' desktop applications, microphone, local files, or gaming sessions.
Website Hosting
The website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure.
These providers may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser details, request information, and security logs.
Such information is handled according to the applicable providers' privacy policies.
Cookies and Analytics
Leylana's website code does not currently implement advertising trackers, analytics tools, or browser storage.
Hosting providers may use cookies or similar technologies for security and access management.
External Resources
The website loads fonts through Google Fonts. Google may receive technical information associated with those requests.
Website photographs are served with the website.
ZM Productions LLC does not sell personal information collected through the Leylana promotional website.
3. Desktop Application and Screen Monitoring
Leylana is designed to operate as an interactive desktop assistant.
When enabled, Leylana may analyze permitted desktop activity to provide recommendations, assistance, and contextual observations.
This functionality may include:
Observing active application windows.
Analyzing visible screen content.
Identifying opportunities to assist users.
Offering unsolicited suggestions based on desktop activity.
Providing gaming assistance.
Reviewing text and suggesting corrections.
Responding to user questions and commands.
User Authorization
Before screen observation begins, Leylana must clearly inform users about the functionality and obtain appropriate authorization.
Users must have the ability to disable screen observation.
Local Processing and Storage
Routine screen observation, contextual analysis, and storage of Leylana desktop data occur locally on the user's computer.
Screen content must not be automatically transmitted to ZM Productions LLC or to external AI services merely because Leylana is active.
Information observed or generated through routine Leylana desktop operation remains on the user's local machine unless the user activates or authorizes functionality that requires communication with a selected third-party service.
If a feature requires external processing, that behavior must be appropriately disclosed and authorized.
4. Third-Party Artificial Intelligence Services
Leylana allows users to select supported third-party artificial intelligence services through an application dropdown or similar selection control.
Available services may include OpenAI/ChatGPT, xAI/Grok, and other supported third-party AI providers.
The availability of individual providers may change as Leylana develops.
The user chooses which supported third-party AI provider to use.
When a user selects and uses a third-party AI service, information necessary to fulfill the user's request may be transmitted to that provider.
Such information may include:
User-submitted questions.
Authorized screenshots.
Selected text.
Relevant contextual information.
User-authorized voice transcripts.
Other information intentionally submitted as part of the requested AI interaction.
Third-Party Data Responsibility
Third-party AI providers are independent services and operate under their own privacy policies, terms of service, security practices, and data-retention policies.
Once information is transmitted to a third-party provider at the user's direction or as part of functionality the user has authorized, that provider's handling of the information is governed by its own policies and practices.
ZM Productions LLC does not control the independent privacy, security, storage, retention, training, disclosure, or other data-handling practices of third-party AI providers.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ZM Productions LLC is not responsible or liable for the independent data-handling practices, acts, omissions, security practices, or retention policies of a third-party AI provider selected or authorized by the user.
Users should review the privacy policy and terms of any third-party AI provider they choose to use through Leylana.
Screen Content Transmission
Leylana must not transmit screenshots or other screen content to an external AI provider unless the user has enabled, requested, or otherwise authorized functionality requiring such transmission.
Users must be informed when a feature requires external transmission.
Whenever practical, Leylana should minimize transmitted information and avoid transmitting information unnecessary to the requested function.
5. Microphone Access and Voice Processing
Leylana may offer optional voice interaction.
Voice functionality may use locally installed speech-recognition and voice-synthesis components, including Whisper and Kokoro.
Microphone Authorization
Leylana must obtain appropriate permission before accessing the microphone.
Users must have a clearly accessible option to disable microphone functionality.
Recording and Transmission
Leylana must not secretly record audio.
Microphone access must be limited to functionality authorized by the user.
Where speech recognition occurs locally, audio and locally generated information remain on the user's computer unless the user authorizes functionality requiring transmission to a selected third-party service.
ZM Productions LLC does not receive or maintain a copy of locally stored voice data or transcripts merely because Leylana's voice functionality is being used.
6. Closing Leylana and Terminating Monitoring
Closing Leylana must stop its active monitoring functionality when the application is fully exited.
When a user fully exits the application, Leylana must:
Stop capturing or analyzing screen content.
Stop accessing the microphone.
Stop any active audio recording.
Stop collecting new desktop activity information.
Terminate application-controlled monitoring processes.
Stop initiating new external AI requests.
Clear temporary sensitive information from application-controlled memory where technically feasible.
Release screen-capture and microphone resources.
Leylana must not continue monitoring users through hidden application-controlled background processes after the application has been fully closed.
Minimizing Leylana to the system tray may not be the same as fully exiting the application. If Leylana remains active while minimized, the interface should clearly communicate that status to the user.
Closing Leylana does not automatically erase information already saved locally, completed third-party transmissions, or information retained by an external provider.
Any information previously transmitted to a third-party AI provider may remain subject to that provider's own retention and deletion policies.
7. Data Storage and Retention
Data observed, received, or generated by the Leylana desktop application is stored locally on the user's computer when storage is necessary.
ZM Productions LLC does not maintain a centralized copy of the user's locally stored Leylana desktop data.
Where technically feasible, temporary screenshots, audio buffers, and contextual observations should be processed without unnecessary permanent storage.
Locally stored information may include, depending on enabled features:
Screenshots.
Conversation histories.
Voice recordings or temporary audio data.
Speech transcripts.
User preferences.
Diagnostic information.
Application activity information.
Data Deletion
Users should have reasonable controls to delete locally stored conversation histories and other personal information where supported.
Temporary sensitive data should be cleared when it is no longer required for its intended purpose.
Because Leylana data is stored locally, deletion of locally stored information generally occurs on the user's own device.
Information already transmitted to a third-party AI provider is outside ZM Productions LLC's direct control and may remain subject to the third-party provider's retention and deletion policies.
8. Sensitive Information Protection
Leylana may encounter sensitive information during authorized desktop observation.
Examples include passwords, financial records, private communications, medical information, and confidential business documents.
Leylana should implement reasonable safeguards designed to reduce unnecessary exposure of such information.
Where technically feasible, safeguards should include:
Preventing unnecessary collection of sensitive information.
Restricting automatic external transmission.
Redacting sensitive information where appropriate before external transmission.
Avoiding unnecessary permanent storage of screenshots.
Protecting locally stored credentials and API keys.
Restricting access to sensitive application data.
Users should exercise caution when intentionally submitting confidential or sensitive information to third-party AI providers.
No software system can guarantee that every item of sensitive information will be automatically identified or protected.
9. User Control and Consent
Leylana provides users with controls over privacy-sensitive functionality.
These may include:
Screen Monitoring: Enable or disable desktop observation.
Microphone: Enable or disable microphone access.
Third-Party AI Provider: Select a supported third-party AI service through Leylana's provider-selection interface or dropdown.
External AI Processing: Authorize applicable information to be transmitted to the selected third-party provider when required for a requested function.
Application Exit: Fully terminate Leylana and its application-controlled monitoring processes.
Stored Information: Review or delete locally stored personal information where supported.
Consent must be meaningful and must not rely on misleading descriptions of the application's behavior.
Users should be informed when enabling a feature changes how their information is processed or transmitted.
10. Data Security
ZM Productions LLC is committed to implementing reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to Leylana's functionality.
These may include:
Encrypted network communications where information is transmitted.
Secure storage of API credentials.
Restricted access to sensitive information.
Protection against unauthorized data transmission.
Secure software updates.
Dependency and vulnerability management.
Reasonable incident-response procedures.
No software system can guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access, malware, security vulnerabilities, or other threats.
ZM Productions LLC does not guarantee that Leylana, a user's computer, or third-party integrations will be entirely free from security risks.
Security safeguards should be reviewed and updated as the application develops.
11. Third-Party Software and Integrations
Leylana incorporates or may incorporate third-party software, models, and services.
These may include local speech recognition, voice generation, desktop functionality, gaming integrations, and external artificial intelligence providers.
Third-party software components remain subject to their respective licensing terms.
Applicable attribution and licensing information is provided in the separate Leylana Third-Party Notices.
Software licensing disclosures do not replace this Privacy Policy.
Where an integration accesses an external service or transmits user information, the applicable third-party service may process that information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
12. Information Sharing
ZM Productions LLC does not sell users' personal information.
Information stored locally by the Leylana desktop application is not routinely transmitted to ZM Productions LLC.
Information may be transmitted to an external AI provider when a user selects, enables, requests, or authorizes functionality requiring communication with that provider.
Such third-party transmissions are governed by the applicable provider's privacy policies, terms, security practices, and retention rules.
Website infrastructure providers may process limited technical information necessary to host, secure, and deliver the Leylana website.
Information may also be disclosed where required by valid legal obligations applicable to ZM Productions LLC.
Any additional sharing practices introduced in future versions of Leylana must be accurately disclosed.

Leylana is not intended for children under 13.
ZM Productions LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.

Because Leylana desktop information is principally stored locally on the user's computer and is not maintained by ZM Productions LLC, ZM Productions LLC may not possess locally stored information that a user requests to access or delete.
Information transmitted to a third-party AI provider may need to be addressed directly with that provider and is subject to that provider's privacy policies and procedures.

15. Security Incidents
ZM Productions LLC will maintain reasonable procedures for responding to suspected security incidents involving information under its control.

ZM Productions LLC will take reasonable steps to investigate applicable incidents, address identified vulnerabilities, and reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
Security incidents involving an independent third-party AI provider are subject to that provider's security practices, policies, and legal obligations.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
ZM Productions LLC may update this Privacy Policy as Leylana's functionality, integrations, security measures, business practices, or legal obligations change.
Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
The latest revision date will be displayed on this Privacy Policy.
Users are encouraged to review the policy periodically, particularly when Leylana adds new functionality or third-party integrations.
